Oklahoma Tragedy gives Mr. O a breathing space:
Just when two more shoes were about to drop for Mr. Obama he caught a break when the Oklahoma tornados took those items off the nations news programs. Whether or not the reports will have any impact three days from now remains to be seen.
You can expect that the news media will be totally wrapped up with tornado coverage plus the obligatory visit by Mr. Obama to the scene.
So for the moment the two 'new' items are pretty much on hold and Obama gets a grace period of about 72 hours to show some 'leadership'. Even a Cook County Political Organizer should be able to milk some positive reports out of this tragedy.
IRS Investigation: Top White House Staffers Were Briefed On Conclusions, Didn't Tell Obama
WASHINGTON -- White House Press Secretary Jay Carney acknowledged on Monday that senior staffers to President Barack Obama were informed in late April that a forthcoming audit of the IRS would reveal that officials there had targeted conservative groups. Nevertheless, Carney said, they did not warn the president about the scandal soon to hit his administration.

Outrage Over Targeting of Fox News
DOJ Calls Fox News Reporter James Rosen 'Co-Conspirator' In Leak Case; Journalists Outraged
The Justice Department is under fire again for explosive claims that it has been closely and surreptitiously monitoring Fox News.A news article about how the Obama administration tracked the movements and correspondence of a Fox News reporter led to a fresh round of condemnation by journalists on Monday.
The Washington Post published an explosive story about the Justice Department's monitoring of James Rosen, a Fox News reporter based in Washington. Rosen allegedly spoke to Stephen Jin-Woo Kim, a State Department contractor, for a story about North Korea's nuclear program. The Justice Department charged Kim with violating the Espionage Act for his contact with Rosen.

Jake Tapper: Obama Is 'Squashing Freedom Of The Press' (VIDEO)
CNN's Jake Tapper took aim at President Obama's policies towards the media on Thursday.
Obama addressed the scandal surrounding the Justice Department's secret probe into the Associated Press during his press conference with the prime minister of Turkey. Journalists and press watchdogs have been outraged by both the breadth and the covert nature of the probe. The Justice Department has justified the investigation as part of its crackdown on national security leaks that wind up in the media.
Obama said he respected the role of a free press and voiced support for a new media shield bill, but added that he made "no apologies" for going after leaks:

Just my opinion:
Jason Chaffetz: Obama Impeachment Still 'Within The Realm Of Possibilities'
As calls for President Barack Obama's impeachment continue to circulate from Republican voices, one Congressman stands by that possibility.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) appeared on Tuesday's edition of CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer," addressing his suggestion that Obama face that stiff a penalty.
I was simply asked: 'is that within the realm of possibilities?' And I would say ‘yes.’ I'm not willing to take that off the table."
"That’s not the goal but given the continued lies perpetrated by this administration, I don’t know where it’s going to go," Chaffetz said.
Other members of the Republican Party see impeachment as too severe an option.
